Abstract
Abstract A photocurable polishing wax having the following composition; (a) 1 part of a polyene having at least two unsaturated carbon to carbon bonds per molecule; (b) about 0.2-1 part of a nonionic emulsifier; (c) about 0.1-0.9 part of carnauba wax, paraffin wax, or a mixture thereof; (d) about 1-50 parts water; (e) a quantity of a liquid polythiol component having at least 2 thiol groups per molecule to provide about 0.6-1.1 equivalents of polythiol per equivalent of the polyfunctional component, the total functionality of the polyene and the polythiol being greater than 4; and (f) about 0.05-0.25 part of a photocuring rate accelerator.
