Reversible doll

Claim 2

A reversible doll comprising: a head having two back-to-back faces with different features formed thereon; and clothes means formed of material having two sides with a different design on each side, said clothes means including a top hood portion having an opening secured to said head so as to divide the head generally along a vertical plane when the head is erect and separating the two faces so that one of the faces is in the interior of the hood portion while the other face is exposed through said hood opening, whereby the doll can be transformed by turning the clothes means inside out with respect to said head so that the previously exposed face will be covered by the hood portion.

Claim 3

The doll of claim 1 wherein said clothes means includes a bottom torso portion extending downwardly from said hood portion and having a bottom opening large enough to receive a child''s hand into the interior of the clothes means, said doll including two pairs of arms secured to said torso portion and extending outwardly therefrom in opposite directions, each pair of arms being complementary to one of the sides of clothing material and extending outwardly from the respective side.

Claim 4

A reversible doll comprising: a head having two back-to-back faces with different features formed thereon; and clothes means formed of material having two sides with a different design on each side, said clothes means including a top head portion having an opening secured to said head so as to divide the head generally along a vertical plane when the head is erect and separating the two faces so that one of the faces is in the interior of the hood portion while the other face is exposed through said hood opening, and a bottom torso portion extending downwardly from said hood portion and having a bottom opening large enough to receive a child''s hand into the interior of the clothes means, said doll including a pair of legs secured to the torso portion extending downwardly from the bottom opening, said legs having front and back sides, each side having a design thereon complementary to one of the sides of material, whereby the doll can be tRansformed by turning the clothes means inside out with respect to said head so that the previously exposed face will be covered by the hood portion.

Claim 5

A reversible doll comprising: a head having two back-to-back faces with different features formed thereon; and clothes means formed of material having two sides with a different design on each side, said clothes means including a top head portion having an opening secured to said head so as to divide the head generally along a vertical plane when the head is erect and separating the two faces so that one of the faces is in the interior of the hood portion while the other face is exposed through said hood opening, and a bottom torso portion extending downwardly from said hood portion and having a bottom opening large enough to receive a child''s hand into the interior of the clothes means, said doll including a pair of legs secured to the torso portion extending downwardly from the bottom opening, said legs having front and back sides, each side having a design thereon complementary to one of the sides of material, whereby the doll can be tRansformed by turning the clothes means inside out with respect to said head so that the previously exposed face will be covered by the hood portion.

Claim 6

The doll of claim 3 including hair means secured on top of the head, said hair means having two sets of hair tufts, each associated with one of the faces and having a style corresponding to the respective doll face and clothing side.

Claim 7

The doll of claim 3 including two pair of arms secured to said torso portion and extending downwardly therefrom in opposite directions, each pair of arms being complementary to one of the sides of clothing material and extending outwardly from the respective side.

Claim 8

The doll of claim 5 including hair means secured on top of the head, said hair means having two sets of hair tufts, each associated with one of the faces and having a style corresponding to the respective doll face and clothing side.

Claim 9

A reversible doll comprising: a head having two back-to-back faces with different features formed thereon including a generally annular flange formed on the head dividing said head generally along a vertical plane; clothes means formed of material having two sides with a different design on each side, said clothes means including a top hood portion having an opening secured to said flange so that one of the faces is in the interior of the hood portion while the other face is exposed through the hood opening, and a bottom torso portion extending downwardly from said hood portion and having a bottom opening large enough to receive a child''s hand into the interior of the clothes means; a pair of legs secured to the torso portion extending downwardly from said bottom opening, said legs having front and back sides, each side having a design thereof complementary to one of the sides of material; two pair of arms secured to said torso portion and extending outwardly therefrom in opposite directions, each pair of arms being complementary to one of the sides of clothing material and extending outwardly from the respective side; hair means mounted on top of the head secured to said flange including hair tufts extending from either side thereof in different styles complementary to the respective doll face and clothing side; and whereby the doll can be transformed by turning the clothes means inside out with respect to the flange so that the previously exposed face, arms, hair style, clothes and legs will not be exposed to view and vice versa.

Claim 10

A reversible doll comprising: a head having two back-to-back faces with different features formed thereon including a generally annular flange formed on the head dividing said head generally along a vertical plane; clothes means formed of material having two sides with a different design on each side, said clothes means including a top hood portion having an opening secured to said flange so that one of the faces is in the interior of the hood portion while the other face is exposed through the hood opening, and a bottom torso portion extending downwardly from said hood portion and having a bottom opening large enough to receive a child''s hand into the interior of the clothes means; a pair of legs secured to the torso portion extending downwardly from said bottom opening, said legs having front and back sides, each side having a design thereof complementary to one of the sides of material; two pair of arms secured to said torso portion and extending outwardly therefrom in opposite directions, each pair of arms being complementary to one of the sides of clothing material and extending outwardly from the respective side; hair means mounted on top of the head secured to said flange including hair tufts extending from either side thereof in different styles complementary to the respective doll face and clothing side; and whereby the doll can be transformed by turning the clothes means inside out with respect to the flange so that the previously exposed face, arms, hair style, clothes and legs will not be exposed to view and vice versa.

Claim 11

A reversible doll comprising: a head having two back-to-back faces with different features formed thereon; clothes means formed of material having two sides with a different design on each side, said clothes means including a top hood portion having an opening secured to said head so as to divide the head generally along the vertical plane when the head is erect and separating the two faces so that one of the faces is in the interior of the hood portion while the other face is exposed through said hood opening, whereby the doll can be transformed by turning the clothes means inside out with respect to said head so that the previously exposed face will be covered by the hood portion; and hair means secured on top of the head having hair tufts extending from either face in different styles complementary to the respective doll face and clothing side.

Claim 12

A reversible doll comprising: a head having two back-to-back faces with different features formed thereon; clothes means formed of material having two sides with a different design on each side, said clothes means including a top hood portion having an opening secured to said head so as to divide the head generally along the vertical plane when the head is erect and separating the two faces so that one of the faces is in the interior of the hood portion while the other face is exposed through said hood opening, whereby the doll can be transformed by turning the clothes means inside out with respect to said head so that the previously exposed face will be covered by the hood portion; and hair means secured on top of the head having hair tufts extending from either face in different styles complementary to the respective doll face and clothing side.

Claim 13

A reversible doll comprising: a head having two back-to-back faces with different features formed thereon including a generally annular flange formed on said head dividing the head generally along a vertical plane and separating said faces; and clothes means formed of material having two sides with a different design on each side, said clothes means including a top hood portion having an opening secured to said flange so that one of the faces is in the interior of the hood portion while the other face is exposed through said hood opening, whereby the doll can be transformed by turning the clothes means inside out with respect to said head so that tHe previously exposed face will be covered by the hood portion.
