Abstract This invention relates to a method for controlling northern jointvetch. More particularly, this invention relates to a method for controlling northern jointvetch with an endemic anthracnose disease of northern jointvetch (Aeschynomene virginica (1) B.S.P.) incited by the fungus Colletotrichum gloesporioides Penz. form specialis aeschynomene, American Type Culture Number 20358.
