Abstract
Abstract A method for producing a catalyst on the basis of phosphates of metals belonging to Group II for selective rupturing of BONDS IN ORGANIC COMPOUNDS, AND, IN PARTICULAR, FOR SPLITTING 4,4-DIMETHYL-1,3-DIOXANE INTO ISOPRENE, BY THERMAL PASSIVATION OF PHOSPHATES OF METALS BELONGING TO Group II, at temperatures within the range of 550* to 700*C in an atmosphere of superheated steam or of mixtures thereof with air or with an inert gas.
