Abstract

Abstract A bracelet construction of the tile type linkage wherein a plurality of elements are arranged in contiguous rows, the elements of proximate rows being offset or staggered, so that each element overlaps two elements of a contiguous row, and interfitting formations on the elements serving to interconnect all the elements and permit of relative element movement for flexibility of the bracelet.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 10
Claim 1
Independent Claim 89 words
In a bracelet construction, the combination comprising a plurality of longitudinally extending rows of elements, the rows being in side-by-side relation with each other, a pair of laterally inward projections on each element of each outer row, the elements of each row adjacent to an outer row having openings in their outer sides for receiving said projections, said adjacent row elements each being located to receive projections of a pair of outer row elements, and retaining means retaining said projections in said openings, whereby said element are all interconnected.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 89 words
In a bracelet construction, the combination comprising a plurality of longitudinally extending rows of elements, the rows being in side-by-side relation with each other, a pair of laterally inward projections on each element of each outer row, the elements of each row adjacent to an outer row having openings in their outer sides for receiving said projections, said adjacent row elements each being located to receive projections of a pair of outer row elements, and retaining means retaining said projections in said openings, whereby said element are all interconnected.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 26 words
A bracelet construction according to claim 1, said retaining means comprising deformed portions of said adjacent row elements deformed into retaining engagement with said received projections.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 28 words
A bracelet construction according to claim 1, said retaining means loosely retaining said projections to permit of relative movement between interconnected elements and afford flexibility to said bracelet.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 25 words
A bracelet construction according to claim 3, said pairs of projections each being generally parallel, for flexibility of said rows in parallelism with each other.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 24 words
A bracelet construction according to claim 1, said adjacent row elements each comprising a tube having its opposite ends open and defining said openings.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 40 words
A bracelet construction according to claim 5, said outer row elements being in respective lateral alignment with each other, and said adjacent row elements each being offset relative to said outer row elements to overlap a pair of the latter.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 21 words
A bracelet construction according to claim 6, the overlapping edges of said elements being configured for conforming relation with each other.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 22 words
A bracelet construction according to claim 1, wherein the end edges of said elements for any one of said rows is scalloped.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 22 words
A bracelet construction according to claim 1, wherein the end edges of said elements for any one of said rows is tapered.
