Abstract
Abstract A ski structure of the multi-layer type having a core and one or more intermediate load-bearing layers above and below the core wherein at least one of the intermediate layers is a laminate comprising a layer of material having a relatively high modulus of elasticity with elastomeric material bonded to opposite faces of the high modulus of elasticity material, with at least a portion of the elastomeric material possessing pronounced viscoelastic properties.
