Abstract
Abstract Guide elements for magnetic tapes, particularly for tapes in magnetic tape cartridges, having a guide surface with a specific roughness so that adhesion between the tape base and the guide surface which preferably consists of plastics material cannot occur. Undisturbed tape travel is thus achieved in a simple manner.
