Abstract
Abstract A valve rocker arm and pivot assembly for use in the overhead valve gear of an internal combustion engine in which the valve rocker arm has a convex upper intermediate bearing portion fulcrumed against a concave bearing channel in the domed roof of a rocker arm cover fixed to the cylinder head of the engine. The bearing portion of the rocker arm is provided with an oil groove connected through a passage in the rocker arm to receive lubricating fluid from a hollow push rod acting against one end of the rocker arm.
