Abstract

Abstract Water-pyridine mixtures containing about 25 to 90% by weight of pyridine have been found to be excellent working fluids for external combustion engines. Methyl substituted pyridines such as 2-methyl pyridine, 4-methyl pyridine, or 2,6-dimethyl pyridine, as well as 1,2-diazine, 1,3-diazine and 1,4-diazine can be substituted for pyridine itself.
