Abstract

Abstract A line, noise-cancelling output circuit is created without the use of a transformer by detecting the error voltage between the voltages at the input and output ends of the line driven from the circuit. The error voltage is applied to the line output circuit amplifier to establish a positive feedback loop of gain equal to a slightly greater than unity. The error voltage can be derived across a resistor connected between the earthy output terminal of the line output circuit and ground.
