Abstract A CYCLIC FLUIDIZED CATALYTIC CRACKING PROCESS IS OPERATED WITH A CATALYST COMPRISING MOLECULAR SIEVE IN A SILICAALUMINA MATRIX, IMPREGNATED WITH ONE OR MORE GROUP IIA METAL OXIDES, TO PROVIDE FROM ABOUT 0.25 TO ABOUT 5.0 WT. PERCENT OF GROUP IIA METAL OR METALS. THE EMISSION OF SULFUR OXIDES IN THE REGENERATOR STACK GASES IS DECREASED BY AT LEAST ABOUT 50%.
