Abstract AN OLEFINE POLYMER IS ADVANTAGEOUSLY CROSS-LINKED BY MEANS OF AN IONIZING RADIATION IN THE PRESENCE OF AN ETHYLENICALLY UNSATURATED HALOCARBON AND A MONOMER SELECTED FROM ACETYLENE AND 1,3-BUTADIENE. THUS, AN OLEFINE POLYMER IS PROVIDED WITH IMPROVED MECHANICAL, CHEMICAL, THERMAL PROPERTIES AND THE LIKE.
