Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 13
Claim 1
Independent Claim 138 words
In a structure in which a facade-forming plate is mounted on a rough structure wall by an anchor element set into this wall and having a horizontal edge and a suspension element embedded in the facade plate and wherein an adjusting device is provided between the two elements, whereby the facade plate can be adjustably positioned with respect to the wall, the suspension element comprising a hook engageable over said edge and the adjusting device is a bolt and nut arrangement having an eye pivotally receiving a portion of the suspension element embedded in the plate, the improvement wherein said hook comprises a Ushaped sheet-metal member having a cylindrical bight extending around the bolt with play and a pair of notches formed in its shanks and receiving said edge, said nut bearing against the shanks of the U.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 138 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 30 words
The improvement defined in claim 1 wherein the shanks of the U are upwardly convex arcuate surfaces, said nut having the complementary surface resting upon said surfaces of said shanks.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 128 words
The combination of a plate, a support structure, and an assembly for mounting said plate upon said structure, said assembly comprising a first anchor member formed on said support structure; a second anchor member formed on said plate; adjustable suspension means interconnecting said anchor member; said adjustable suspension means including a bolt connected with one of said anchor members and deflectible relative thereto, the other of said anchor members having an upper edge, a hook-forming element of U-shape adjustably receiving said bolt and having a pair of shanks formed with hooks resting upon said edge engaging therebehind, a substantially cylindrical bight extending around said bolt and a nut threaded onto said bolt and bearing upon said element; and articulating means interposed between said second member and said bolt.
Claim 5
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 21 words
The combination defined in claim 3 wherein said support structure is a rough building and said plate is a facade-forming slab.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 25 words
The combination defined in claim 3 wherein said bight is formed with a passage receiving said bolt with play, said nut engaging behind said shanks.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 35 words
The combination defined in claim 3 wherein said first member includes a vertical metal plate, said element having vertically extending shanks lying in planes transverse to said metal plate, said hooks overhanging said metal plate.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 18 words
The combination defined in claim 6 wherein said bight is generally cylindrical with generatrix parallel to said bolt.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 21 words
The combination defined in claim 7 wherein said shanks have a pair of upper surfaces against which said nut is seated.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 14 words
The combination defined in claim 8 wherein said surfaces of said shanks are curved.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 19 words
The combination defined in claim 9 wherein said bolt extends rearwardly from said slab at an obtuse angle thereto.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 18 words
The combination defined in claim 10, further comprising an adjustable spacer interpoSed between said slab and said structure.
