Abstract
Abstract A plastic cotainer of the type adapted to accept a screw cap closure member having threading is provided in which an annular groove is placed on the rim of the mouth of the container. A removable cover having a circular ring which fits securely into the groove is also provided to form an airtight seal. Threads corresponding to those on the container are provided on the cover or on a separate cap for positioning the cover with respect to the mouth of the container to therefore effect closure.
