Abstract
Abstract AN ADHESIVE IS PROVIDED THAT CONSISTS ESSENTIALLY OF (1) A POLYBENZOTHIAZOLE MODIFIED BY REACTION WITH 4-AMINOPHTHALIMIDE, (2) ALUMINUM AND (3) ZINC OXIDE. THE ADHESIVE IS PARTICULARLY USEFUL IN BONDING STRUCTURAL MEMBERS, E.G., THOSE FABRICATED FROM STAINLESS STEEL OR TITANIUM, THAT ARE SUBJECTED TO HIGH TEMPERATURES AS IN THE OPERATION OF HIGH PERFORMANCE AIRCRAFT.
