Abstract THE DISCLOSURE RELTES TO A COMPOSITION IN WHICH MICRONIZED ALLANTOIN SERVES AS A DILUENT OR CARRIER FOR A BACTERICIDAL OR BACTERIOSTATIC INGREDIENT, SUCH AS SILVER CITRO ALLANTOINATE, AND/OR FOR A FUNGICIDAL OR FUNGISTATIC INGREDIENT, SUCH AS A ZINNC COMPOUND. THE COMPOSITION IS PARTICULARLY USEFUL WHEN DISPERSED ON THE SURFACE OF A PLASTIC AIR SPLINT OR OTHER BANDAGING OR WRAPPING PRODUCT RENDERING IT CONTINUINGLY SAFE FOR USE DESPITE STORAGE UNDER UNSTERILE CONDITIONS.
