Abstract IN MODIFIED POLYOLEFIN COMPOSITION PREPARED BY REACTING AN OLEFIN POLYMER WITH A POLYMERIZABLE COMPOUND GENERALLY DEFINED BY CH2=C(-R3)-(R4)(0-1)-SI(-R5)3 IN THE PRESENCE OF AN ORGAIC PEROXIDE, THE MELT FLOW MAY BE CONTROLLED BY INCLUDING IN THE REACTION MIXTURE A QUANTITY OF XYLENE. THE REACTION PRODUCT IS PARTICULARLY SUITED FOR REINFORCEMENT WITH FILAMENTARY MATERIAL OR AS A COATING ON METALLIC SURFACES.
