Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 12
Claim 1
Independent Claim 118 words
A heat exchange system comprising: a source of heat comprising the products of combustion; a heat exchanger supplied with heat from said source comprising a plurality of paths having their inputs connected to the common plenum of a header structure for the flow of a common fluid from said header structure through said paths in parallel; the surface area of said heat exchanger exposed to said products of combustion being substantially greater than the surface area of said heat exchanger defining said paths; means for separately sensing the temperature of said fluid through at least a plurality of said paths; and means controlled by said sensing means for controlling at least parts of the operation of said system.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 118 words
A heat exchange system comprising: a source of heat comprising the products of combustion; a heat exchanger supplied with heat from said source comprising a plurality of paths having their inputs connected to the common plenum of a header structure for the flow of a common fluid from said header structure through said paths in parallel; the surface area of said heat exchanger exposed to said products of combustion being substantially greater than the surface area of said heat exchanger defining said paths; means for separately sensing the temperature of said fluid through at least a plurality of said paths; and means controlled by said sensing means for controlling at least parts of the operation of said system.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 14 words
The system in accordance with claim 1 wherein said fluid comprises an organic liquid.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 13 words
The system in accordance with claim 1 wherein said fluid comprises cooking oil.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 23 words
The system in accordance with claim 1 and including means for pumping said fluid through said heat exchanger to a heat utilization load.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 18 words
The system in accordance with claim 4 wherein said heat utilization load comprises a receptacle for cooking food.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 13 words
The system in accordance with claim 5 wherein said fluid comprises cooking oil.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 107 words
A heat exchanger comprising: a source of heat; a heat exchanger comprising a plurality of paths for the flow of a common fluid therethrough; means for separately sensing the temperature of said fluid through at least a plurality of said paths; means controlled by said sensing means for controlling at least parts of the operation of said system; means for pumping said fluid through said heat exchanger to a heat utilization load; said heat utilization load comprising a receptacle for cooking food; said fluid comprising cooking oil; a plurality of groups of tubular elements; and the tubular elements of each of said groups being connected in series.
Claim 9
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 26 words
The system in accordance with claim 7 wherein said tubular elements are spaced in a substantially cylindrical locus and are bonded to a plurality of spheres.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 48 words
The system in accordance with claim 7 wherein said tubes are spaced around a central plenum containing said source of heat which is transferred to said fluid at a rate in excess of 50,000 BTU''s per hour per square foot of effective heat exchange surface contacting said fluid.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 32 words
The system in accordance with claim 1 wherein said source of heat comprises a burner supplied by a blower whose input is supplied with gaseous fuel from a substantially zero pressure regulator.
