In a method of producing a plurality of connected, stuffed sealed envelope assemblies, the steps of embossing a first continuously advancing web to provide upstanding portions for each assembly, sequentially superposing at least one insert sheet on said first web for each assembly in confining relation to said embossments, and adhesively securing a second continuous web to said first web outwardly of the first web embossments to provide a closed, stuffed sealed envelope for each assembly.
