Abstract Novel anti-inflammatory compositions comprised of an effective amount of an ester of fluocinolone-acetonide or 6 Alpha ,9 Alpha -difluoro-16 Alpha ,17 Alpha -isopropylidenedioxy- Delta 1,4pregnadiene-11 Beta ,21-diol-c,20-dione 21-diol-3,20-dione of the formula WHEREIN R is selected from the group consisting of pyridine3,pyridine-4, benzofuran-2 or e-menthoxymethyl and a method of treating inflammation in warm-blooded animals.
