Abstract
Abstract A method of disposing of waste plastic without polluting the environment by passing the plastic to a reactor, heating the plastic in the presence of a gas to at least the decomposition temperature of the plastic, and recovering decomposition products therefrom. The preferred embodiment utilizes a heated inert carrier gas as the source of heat.
