Abstract
Abstract A roller, particularly for using in paper making machines, and providing flow-through openings between the body of the roller and a woven cover enclosing the body. The body is of cylindrical configuration and has peripherally disposed flat belts which are connected together by belts that are corrugated in the peripheral direction. The flowthrough openings are provided at the connecting points between the flat and corrugated belts.
