Abstract
Abstract A nuclear reactor of the pressured water type is equipped with in-core instrumentation apparatus which has vertically displaceable instrumentation shafts passing from above through the head cover of the reactor pressure vessel. Yoke structures extend horizontally from each instrumentation shaft in the space between the cover and the core assembly. Finger-like groups of rigid instrument guide tubes for respective measuring probes extend from each yoke downwardly into the core assembly.
