Abstract
Abstract An animal cage in which bedding material is in the cage and a seal is provided to prevent the bedding material from spilling out during shipment and storage. The seal comprises a removable retaining element, part of whose upper portion extends over the top edge of the cage side walls and outwardly and downwardly along the outside of the cage. This part of the upper portion of the retaining element prevents inward displacement of the remainder of the upper portion.
