An art canvas support and carrying device having in combination a pair of closely spaced vertically disposed rods, a transverse bar secured to the lower ends of said rods forming a base for the same and having reversely curved upwardly extending terminal portions forming an art canvas support, an enclosed handle portion secured to the upper ends of said rods forming a carrying or hanging means, a rod extending transversely of said first mentioned rods and having reversely curved downwardly extending terminal portions to secure the upper portion of an art canvas, means slidably adjustably securing said last mentioned rod to said first mentioned rods throughout the full extent of said rods, a pair of diverging rods pivoted at their upper ends to said handle portion and forming a rearward support, and means flexibly connecting said pair of diverging rods and said first mentioned rods.
