Abstract THE PROCES FOR PURIFYING POLYOXYALKYLENE ETHER POLYOLS CONTAINING WATER-SOLUBLE RESIDUAL CATALYSTS WHICH COMPRISES (1) PROVIDING A MIXTURE OF WATER, POLYOL AND A SOLVENT WHICH TOGETHER WITH THE POLYOL FORMS A WATERIMMISCIBLE SOLUTION, (2) SUBJECTING THE MIXTURE TO CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATION WHEREBY THE POLYOL-SOLVENT SOLUTION IS SEPARATED FROM A WATER LAYER AND (3) RECOVERING THE PURIFIES POLYOL FROM THE POLYOL-SOLVENT SOLUTION BY STRIPPING OFF THE SOLVENT.
