Abstract
Abstract A card handling mechanism in a teaching machine for returning a magnetically striped information card to an initial position or to any selected position for replaying a word or group of words. The mechanism includes a first drive means for feeding the card in the forward direction, a second drive means for returning the card to the initial position or any desirable repeat position and a selectively operable control means for alternately engaging and disengaging the first and second drive means.
