Abstract
Abstract Method of bonding together two substrate surfaces each having a chemical composition containing free hydroxyl groups such as cellulose or fiber glass-reinforced polyester in which (1) each substrate surface is coated with a polyisocyanate such as the reaction product of toluene diisocyanate and trimethylol propane, (2) applying between and in contact with the coated surfaces a layer of thermoplastic adhesive composition comprising thermoplastic segmented copolyester elastomer, and (3) applying heat to the area of the bond.
