Abstract
Abstract A unitary support member is disclosed for a dynamoelectric machine comprising an end frame and a bearing surface having a preselected configuration of definitive length. The bearing surface has a longitudinal slot therein extending substantially the definite length whereby a lubricant impregnable wick may be mounted within the slot from which wick lubricant may be supplied directly throughout the definitive length to the bearing surface in lubricating a shaft rotatably journalled through the bearing.
