Abstract
Abstract An industrail lift truck which has a carriage movable up and down a mast and a turret with forks on the carriage. The turret carries two movably mounted stops which co-operate with fixed abutments to provide different limits of movement of the turret according to the direction in which the forks face.

An industrial lift truck comprising a load lifting carriage movable up and down a mast structure mounted on the truck, a turret head mounted on the load lifting carriage for sideways movement relatively thereto, a load supporting structure mounted on the turret head for rotation relatively thereto about an upright axis, two stop members which are movably mounted on the turret head, are movable into and out of operative positions where they are engageable with fixed abutments mounted adjacent opposite side edges of the load lifting carriage and are spaced apart across the width of the turret head; and means operatively connecting said stop members with the load supporting structure, said means causing, in response to rotation of the load supporting structure to face towards each side of the truck, withdrawal of the stop member nearer that side from that stop member''s operative position and movement of the stop member further from that side into the latter stop member''s operative position.

An industrial lift truck according to claim 1, further comprising a single element pivotedly mounted on the turret head and means connecting said stop members to said single element for effecting pivotal movement of the element by rotation of the load lifting structure on the turret head.

An industrial lift truck according to claim 2 in which the single element comprises a bell crank lever having two arms to which the stop members are connected respectively and a third arm which is movable in response to rotation of the load lifting structure.

An industrial lift truck according to claim 3 in which the load lifting structure has means for engaging the third arm of the bell crank lever and rotating the lever as the load lifting structure approaches each limit of its rotation on the turret head.
