Abstract

Abstract An enhanced output signal is provided by the coupling of a magnetic bubble to a magnetoresistance detector element when the familiar rotating in-plane drive field is set at an amplitude such that the presence of a bubble results in a change in frequency in signal exhibited by the detector element due to the in-plane field. The largest signals yet achieved resulted from an integrated expansion detector, guard rail arrangement with a meandering magnetoresistance element when operated in this manner.
