Abstract

Abstract Tridydroxydiphenyl is useful as an additive for improving the properties of foundry green molding sands or clays. The trihydroxydiphenyl is incorporated into the sand in the form of an aqueous solution. Alternatively, the solution may be applied to the surface of a green sand mold for use as a facing agent.
