Abstract
Abstract A tank for use in electro-coating strip as the strip moves through the tank continuously. The tank includes inner and outer chambers arranged so that the strip moves upwardly from the outer chamber through a passage and then through the inner chamber where the electro-coating takes place. The passage provides an electrical seal to prevent throw effects reaching the outer tank so that the coating applied to the strip can be contrlled substantailly wihtin the inner chamber.
