Abstract A miter box having parallel vertical horizontally elongated side members having spaced saw kerfs arranged in aligned pairs and having a horizontal bottom portion formed by two mating horizontally elongated horizontal members detachably engagable in abutting coplanar relationship wherein means are provided for detachable insertion between said horizontal members to enlarge the width of the box.
