Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 20 words
Apparatus of claim 1 in which the A'' atom consists essentially of praseodymium in the range x 1.5 to 3.0.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 27 words
Apparatus of claim 2 in which the B'' atom is aluminum in the range y 0.3 to 0.9 or gallium in the range y 0.3 to 0.8.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 12 words
Apparatus of claim 1 in which z is from 0 to 0.5.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 17 words
Apparatus of claim 1 in which the first means for introducing radiation includes an optically polished surface.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 19 words
Apparatus of claim 1 in which the said first means includes a neodymium/YAG laser provided with optical pump means.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 15 words
Apparatus of claim 6 in which the said optical pump means includes a light-emitting diode.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 16 words
Apparatus of claim 7 in which the said light-emitting diode is a gallium arsenide junction diode.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 21 words
Apparatus of claim 8 in which the gallium arsenide diode is modified by aluminum inclusion to change its peak emission wavelength.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 16 words
Apparatus of claim 8 in which the light-emitting diode is in solid contact with the laser.
