Abstract A PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN AQUEOUS ACRYLIC POLYMER EMULSION FROM WHICH ACCORDING TO THE COMPOSITION OF THE POLYMERIC MATERIAL IN THE EMULSION A STRIPPABLE COATING OR PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE CAN BE FORMED. THE PROCESS INVOLVES THE FORMATION OF AN AQUEOUS PRE-EMULSION OF MONOMERS INCLUDING MOST OF THE WATER REQUIRED FOR THE FINAL EMULSION.
