Abstract
Abstract THE INVENTION IS A NOVEL ELECTROLYTIC CELL ASSEMBLY USING TUBULAR ELECTRODES WHICH ALLOW GREATER PRODUCTION PER UNIT OF CELL VOLUME THAN DO CONVENTIONAL ELECTROLYTIC CELLS. DIMENSIONALLY STABLE ANODES ARE USED. THE TUBULAR CATHODES ADAPTED READILY TO THE USE OF ION EXCHANGE DIAPHRAGMS. THE ANODES AND CATHODES MAY BE DISPOSED PARALLEL TO OR AT AN ANGLE WITH RESPECT TO EACH OTHER.
