Abstract NOVEL SOLUTION TETRAPOLYMER COMPOSITIONS CONSISTING OF MONOMER UNITS OF N-VINYL-2:PYRROLIDONE, ACRYLAMIDE, METHACRYLAMIDE, AND AN ALKYLAMINO-ESTER OF AN ETHYLENICALLY UNSATURATED ACID WHICH ARE SUITABLE FOR USE AS FLOCCULANTS HAVING A HIG MOLECULAR WEIGHT AND LOW SHEAR VISCOSITY ARE PRODUCED IN THE PRESENCE OF AN INORGANIC FREE RADICAL CATALYST SUCH AS TETRAPOTASSIUM PEROXY DIPHOSPHATE.
