Abstract A PROCESS FOR MAKING POLYETHERIMIDES IS PROVIDES BY MELT POLYMERIZING A MIXTURE OF CERTAIN AROMATIC BIS(ETHERANHYDRIDE)S AND ORGANIC DIAMINES. THE POLYETHERMIDES CAN BE REINFORCED WITH VARIOUS FILLERS TO PRODUCE HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPOSITES.
