Abstract NEW DERIVATIVES OF 2 - MERCAPTO-PYRIDO(1,2-B)-1,2,4THIADIAZOLIUM SALTS OF THE FORMULA 2-(A-S-),(R)M-1,2,4-THIADIAZOLO(2,3-A)PYRIDINIUM X(-) WHEREIN R REPRESENTS HYDROGEN, HALOGEN, NITRO, ALKYL OR ALKOXY; M DENOTES 1 OR 2; A STANDS FOR AN OPTIONALLY SUBSTITUTED STRAIGHT-CHAIN OR BRANCHED ALKYL RADICAL OR AN OPTIONALLY SUBSTITUTED PHENYLALKYL; AND X REPRESENTS THE ANION OF A NON-TOXIC ACID HAVING A BROAD RANGE ANTHELMINTIC ACTION, PROCESS FOR THEIR PRODUCTION, ANLTHELMINTIC COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING A THIADIAZOLIUM SALT OF AT THE ABOVE FORMULA AND THE USE OF THIADIAZOLIUM SALTS OF THE ABOVE FORMULA FOR THE CONTROL OF PARASITIC HELMINTHES.
