Abstract
Abstract A motor drive includes a gear box having front and back portions and a countershaft journaled inside of the box for transmitting rotative power from a rotative input shaft to a rotative output shaft. The drive from the input shaft to the countershaft is via a slip clutch requiring manual adjustment and located near the rear portion where it is relatively inaccessible without first removing various parts. The front end of the countershaft projects through the front portion of the box where it is accessible, and to give access to the slip clutch to permit its adjustment, this shaft is formed with a bore or passageway so that a long tool can be passed through it to the slip clutch to adjust the latter.
