Abstract
Abstract DIFFERENT FLUIDS ARE CAUSED TO FLOW ALONG AT LEAST TWO PATHS SEPARATED BY AN UPRIGHT WALL HAVING FINE PERFORATIONS THROUGH WHICH THE STREAM OF DIFFERENT COMPONENTS ARE IN CONTACT. IF THE FLUID IS LIQUID IT CAN BE FOAMED WITH GAS AND IF THE FLUID IS A STREAM OF PARTICULATE SOLIDS IT CAN BE FLUIDIZED. TO FOAM OR FLUIDIZE, GAS CAN BE INTRODUCED THROUGH A PERFORATED WALL FROM BELOW THE STREAMS AND REMOVED ABOVE THE STREAMS.
