Abstract
Abstract A method for forming a plastic container having integral hinge pin bearing portions of double wall thickness. A length of tubing is extruded and mold cavity sections are moved into engagement therewith to enclose a section of the tubing and to fold a portion of the tubing upon itself to form the double thickness bearing portion. The remainder of the enclosed tubing is expanded within the mold cavity sections to form the container part integral with the bearing portion.
