Abstract

Abstract An electric timepiece is provided with a time correcting mechanism having both movable and fixed parts for the manual resetting of the time display and a switching mechanism having a movable contact point and a fixed contact point for the selective stopping and starting of the driving of the time display. One of the movable parts of said time correcting mechanism serves as the movable contact point of the switching mechanism while one of the stationary parts thereof serves as the fixed contact point.
