Abstract
Abstract A can for coils of a material which, when burnt, produces fumes for killing mosquitoes, said can being adapted to serve as a fumigator in which said coil may be burnt, and comprising a top lid and an inner lid, the inner lid being provided with windows to release the fumes of a burning coil, and a wire screen mounted on the inside of the top lid.

A container for mosquito coils comprising: a. a can body large enough to hold at least one mosquito coil; b. a cup-shaped top lid defining an internal volume large enough to hold a mosquito coil; and c. a cup-shaped inner lid having a transverse surface provided with windows for the diffusion of the fumes from a burning coil; each of said lids being provided with side walls having a first section slightly larger in diameter than a second section thereof, with one of said sections having a diameter such that it is a close sliding fit when lapping the upper edge of said body, said lids being adapted to from a closed container with at least one section of the side wall of said inner lid encircling the upper edge of said body and the larger section of said top lid encircling the smaller section of said inner lid, but to form a fumigator with said top lid upside down, the smaller section of said top lid seated in the upper edge of said body, and the larger section of said inner lid lapping the larger section of said upper lid.

A can for mosquito coils as claimed in claim 1, wherein the top lid holds an internal wire screen to support a mosquito coil, with said screen resting on the step in the side wall of said top lid.

A can for mosquito coils as claimed in claim 2, wherein said screen has a mesh, the openings in which are in the range of 0.3 - 6.0 mm on a side, and is made of wire which has been resin-treated for resistance to heat.
