Abstract
Abstract A massage table having a frame supported on sprockets which carry a continuous chain. Rollers are supported on said chain. The table top has slots in it and a pad supported above said table top. The rollers extend up through the slots and engage the bottom of the pad. The chain carries the rollers completely through their orbit and the rollers deform the pad and thereby massage the person resting on the pad. The table top is adjustable toward and away from the table to adjust the vigor of the massage.

Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim
153 words
A massage table comprising longitudinally spaced track means, first laterally spaced sprocket means at a first end of said table, and second laterally spaced sprocket means at a second end of said table, first chain means on said sprocket means at first side of said table, second chain means on said sprocket means at second side of said table, and means to drive said chain means in an orbital path around said sprockets, longitudinally spaced laterally extending rods fixed to said chains and extending therebetween, rollers on said rods adapted to move in an orbital path with said rods, and bearing means on said rods engaging said tracks and holding said rollers in a positive path, a relatively rigid table top, slots in said table top, a relatively thick pad on said table top, said rollers extending through said slots into engagement with said pad whereby a person on said pad is massaged.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
32 words
The massage table recited in claim 1 wherein means is provided to adjust said track means away from said top whereby said rollers are extended for more or less through said slots.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
61 words
A massage table comprising, a table having legs, a rigid member supported on said table, a pad supported on said rigid member, longitudinal slots in said rigid member, and rollers having a part exteding through said slots engaging said pad, and means moving said rollers longitudinally of said table whereby said pad is deflected to massage a person on said pad.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
61 words
A massage table comprising, a table having legs, a rigid member supported on said table, a pad supported on said rigid member, longitudinal slots in said rigid member, and rollers having a part exteding through said slots engaging said pad, and means moving said rollers longitudinally of said table whereby said pad is deflected to massage a person on said pad.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
30 words
The massage table recited in claim 1 wherein means is provided to adjust said rollers relative to said top rigid member whereby the amount said pad is deformed is controlled.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
58 words
The table recited in claim 4 wherein said means to adjust said rollers toward said rigid member comprises a track means on said table and means fixed to said rollers engaging said track means, and means to move said track means toward and away from said table whereby the extent said rollers extend through said slots is adjusted.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
38 words
The table recited in claim 5 wherein said means fixed to said rollers comprises shafts supporting said rollers and bearings on the distal ends of said shafts whereby said rollers are held in position relative to said pad.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim
27 words
The table recited in claim 6 wherein said shafts are attached to a continuous chain and means is provided to move said chain longitudinally of said table.
