Abstract
Abstract This invention relates to a retractable spike, particularly for a golf shoe and the like, whereby the spikes can be either protruded or retracted from the bottom sole of the shoe to protect the floor of a clubhouse or the turf on the green. This movement of the spikes can be accomplished from the outside of the shoe by a mere rotation of a protruding knob.
