Abstract
Abstract A POLYBLEND CONTAINS A MATRIX INTERPOLYMER OF MONOVINYLIDENE AROMATIC HYDROCARBON AND AN ETHYLENEICALLY UNSATURATED NITRILE, AND A GRAFT COPOLYMER HAVING A SUPERSTRATE OF AN INTERPOLYMER OF MONOVINYLIDENE AROMATIC HYDROCARBON AND AN ETHYLENICALLY UNSATURATED NITRILE. IN THE GRAFT COPOLYMER, THE SUBSTRATE COMPRISES AN AGGLOMERATED RUBBERY POLYMER HAVING A MONODISPERSE PARTICLE SIZE, AND BOTH THE MOLECULAR WEIGHT OF THE SUPERSTRATE AND ALSO THE RATIO OF SUPERSTRATE TO SUBSTRATE ARE CAREFULLY CONTROLLED TO PROVIDE AN OPTIMUM BALANCE OF PROPERTIES IN THE POLYBLEND.
