Abstract A PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF POLYLACTAM POLYMERS OF IMPROVED NOTCH IMPACT STRENGTH IS DESCRIBED, THE PROCESS OF THE ANIONIC CATALYTIC POLYMERIZATION REACTION IN THE PRESENCE OF CERTAIN PROMOTERS BEING CARRIED OUT IN THE FURTHER PRESENCE OF A QUANTITY OF A POLYETHER WHICH IS SOLUBLE IN THE MOLTEN LACTAM BEING POLYMERIZED.
