Abstract
Abstract An opaque element comprises a flexible transparent film support, such as a polyester support, having thereon a first layer containing carbon black, casein and a compatible organic polymeric material over which is coated a contiguous second layer comprising casein and a compatible organic polymeric material such as a polyvinyl acetate or a styrene-acrylic acid polymer which improves the cracking resistance. The element may be a support for a light-sensitive layer or for an image receiving layer of the type used in an image transfer system.
